How much do we know about MZ generation?

I am sure 100% of the people would agree that quality and quantity of changes in last few years has been so tremendous, affecting every little details of human life.

We also know that the changes are also affecting MLM business model because why people buy, what they buy, and how they buy are changing. The changes are real and it is already happening all around us. We have seen once industry dominating companies like Blockbuster, Toys R Us, Pan Am, Polaroid, Tower Record, IBM declining, disappearing, or simply being forgotten just because they chose to ignore changes. If you don’t take time to seriously re-evaluate why you do, what you do, and how you do in your daily MLM business activities and systems, otherwise you will be declined, disappeared, or simply being forgotten, just like great companies listed above.

100% of customers are people. 100% of employees are people. If you don’t understand people, you don’t understand business.

Simon Sinek

As a student and professor of Organizational Culture and Behavior, I believe you can find solution(s) from understanding generation change. After all, like what Simon Sinek said, 100% of your customers and employees are people. And for MLM, 100% of your partners are people also, making understanding people more important than other industries.

As far as MLM is concern, no one can build lifetime business without understating next generation, no one can have residual income without understanding next generation customers, and no one can have long-lasting organization without understanding and having next generation age group partners in their organization. For any MLM business to claim they offer lifetime business and residual income, they must show that they have next generation inclusive culture and system. It is simple fact that no one can deny.

Since the purpose of this blog is to give something to think about MLM Korea market and knowing the audience is capable leaders in the industry, I know I should not attempt to give you a lecture. However, please take time to study how the MZ generation behaves. Understanding their world view, social behavior, and cultural foundation will help you to formulate a strategy that will work as a new set of keys to open new doors.
